Technical Skills
Everything that we do is online. In fact, we rarely, if ever, interact with each other in person. Our company works exclusively in open source technologies. We only use freeware or proprietary programs when absolutely necessary. Our company's international reputation for quality has been built on our ability to personalize the technology.
You should demonstrate competency in:
Managing online learning environments (LMS, CMS, social learning tools, etc.)
Using live collaboration and networking tools (Skype, Twitter, web-conferencing, etc.)
Hand code HTML, (CSS preferred), and create webpages,
Trouble shoot website problems, and
Read one programming language.
In addition to these skills, you should also be able to:
Explain the development of open source products and the philosophy surrounding the culture; and
Explain the difference between open source, open content, freeware and proprietary programs.
