The Process: Deadline - Friday, April 16, 2010
If you are interested in this opportunity, we'll go through a four step process! You begin by submitting an statement of your interest and background. After reviewing for the right fit, we will invite you to engage in conversation with us. In fact, we anticipate three conversations. At the end of each, we will mutually determine to proceed with the next. We will invite you to submit specific documents strategically throughout the process.
Step 1: Send us a statement of interest and background
The first step is to send us an email and any other supporting documents you think are beneficial. You should highlight any information you believe is relevant to securing a conversation with us. Email your package to jackvincent.rightfit@gmail.com.
Step 2: Engage in a First Conversation
If we feel there is potential for the right fit, we’ll set up a convenient time for you and one person from our company to have a conversation on skype. We’ll ask you to prepare any questions you have about our company, and experience in the online education business. We'll also ask you to sign a non disclosure agreement.
This is your chance to ask many questions and fully understand the opportunity and determine if you are still interested. And it’s our chance to determine if we feel the potential for the right fit still exists. At the end of the conversation, we'll both decide if we should proceed to the next conversation.
Step 3. Engage in a Second Conversation
If we agree to a second conversation, we’ll set it up between you and several people associated with our business, and not necessarily from our company (we’ll give you their contact information). These people will represent our informal and formal partnerships, education clients, and business colleagues.
We’ll create an agenda, but you get to chose the technology and make the arrangements. This is your opportunity to demonstrate technical and organizational prowess, and the agenda will focus on the education assets that you possess as well as your marketing and sales experience and ability. In advance of the conversation, we’ll ask you to send us a plan for a course/program/activity that you have developed (from start to finish), and a sample formal report that you have written.
Once again, you’ll be asked to email these documents to jackvincent.rightfit@gmail.com. At the end of the conversation, we'll both decide if we should engage in a third conversation.
Step 4. Engage in a Third Conversation
If we agree to a third conversation, we’ll set up a convenient time for you and the three people from the second conversation. This time, the agenda will be about your approach and methods for business development in the online education field.
At the end of the conversation, we'll both decide if you are the right fit and determine next steps which could include entering into an agreement to take on the business.
